One day while hiking through the rainforests on Kauai, I came upon a cheerful patch of Coral trees in full bloom. Knarled, twisting trunks gave way to wild outstretched branches and splendid mandarin shaded flowers adorned the lush foliage, weaving a thick canopy of cool shade under their shadows. The beauty of the surrounding jungle now paled in comparison and seemed to bow down in submission creating a small clearing around the strong and majestic trees. 16x20, Oil. |
